Kick-off meeting for SI project

25-28 of March we have a kick-off meeting for the project “Cross-sectoral place-based integrated spatial planning for functional green infrastructures in the Baltic Sea Region”. We have guests from Latvia, Russia and Belarus. The aim of this first project activity is to learn to know each other and to plan for the project. The participants present how planning for green infrastructure is done in their countries and places. The goal is to learn from each other and to develop collaborative learning so we  can learn together and produce new knowledge for functional green infrastructures. Participants are government owned forest companies, private landowners, municipality, regions, universities and a research institute. From Bergslagen the participants are the School for Forest Management, Skinnskatteberg municipalities, Bergskraft Bergslagen, the Lake Vänern museum, Malcolm Dixelius and the film-maker Valery Gorchakov. The project is funded by the Swedish Institute.
